About Diabetes Coverage Help
DiabetesCoverageHelp.com exists for one reason: getting life insurance with diabetes is confusing, and most of the information online is either vague or written to push you toward a single company. We wanted a place that explains, in plain English, how insurers actually look at diabetes — and what real coverage costs in 2026.
What we do
We research and publish in-depth guides on life insurance for people with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes. That includes how underwriting works, what A1C levels and treatment plans mean for your rates, which types of policies (term, whole life, guaranteed issue, final expense) make sense in different situations, and realistic sample rate tables so you know what to expect before you talk to an agent.
How we research
Our guides are built from publicly available underwriting guidelines, insurer rate data, and primary sources such as the American Diabetes Association and state insurance department resources. Every major guide lists its sources at the bottom, and we date our content so you can see when it was last updated. When rates or underwriting practices change, we revise the guides rather than leaving stale numbers up.
What we are not
We are not a licensed insurance agency and we do not sell policies. Nothing on this site is medical, legal, or financial advice — it’s educational information to help you ask better questions. Your actual rates will depend on your full health profile, so always confirm details with a licensed agent or the insurer directly before making a decision.
Corrections and contact
We work hard to keep everything accurate, but if you spot an error or an outdated number, tell us and we’ll fix it promptly. You can reach us at contact@diabetescoveragehelp.com. We read everything.
Thanks for reading — we hope the guides save you time, money, and a few headaches.
